Ghana Premier League newboys RTU interested in Kotoko midfielder Latif Anabila [Asempa FM]

Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Real Tamale United have reportedly began talks with midfielder Abdul Latif Anabila, according to Accra-based Asempa FM.

Anabila, 24, has 2 years left on his contract with Asante Kotoko but he has reportedly informed the club he wants to leave the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

RTU, who secured promotion back to the Ghana Premier League on the final matchday of the Division One League season, have expressed interest in the former AshantiGold captain and have began talks with the midfielder, Kumasi-based journalist Sokorban Fatilow reported on Sports Nite on Asempa FM.

Anabila, a former loanee at Tunisian side Club Africain, joined Kotoko in October 2020 from AshantiGold but has struggled to settle in at the former African champions and played only 17 times for the club.
