Ghanaian defender Félix Ofoli-Quaye excels in Leganes’ pre-season win against Getafe

Ghanaian defender Felix Ofoli-Quaye came off the bench in the second half to feature for Leganes in their 2-0 pre-season triumph over La Liga side Getafe on Saturday.

Ofoli-Quaye, 22, was introduced at the 68th-minute mark as a replacement for Jorge Sáenz at the Estadio Municipal Butarque.

His core responsibility was to help shore up the backline as Los Pepineros sought to protect their lead with just 22 remaining to end the game.

And, he successfully completed the task as his side secured a 2-0 victory over the opposition.

Guinean forward Seydouba Cisse and Ukrainian defender Vasyl Kravets scored in either half to get the results for the Leganes.

During last season’s campaign, he was an unused substitute once for the season team as he warmed the bench against Fuenlabrada.
