Takoradi-born Ghanaian kid Trevis Samuel Bening scored a treble as his Arbutus Global Middle School thrashed Gorge 4-0 to lift the 2022 Soccer District Cup Championship in Canada.

The 13-year-old took matters into his own hands when he netted a stunning hat-trick to propel his school to victory in the final.

Arbutus’ routine to the final of the competition was fueled by the scoring form of the young Ghanaian kid in the U14 championship.

Canada-based non-profit making Sport BC has been providing funding for the talented kid whose gift and craft is propelling to great heights in youth football in the North American nation.

Per the arrangement made by Arbutus, Bening will keep the prestigious trophy in his possession for 14 days before passing it on to another player in the squad.
