Ghanaian youth forward Charles Sagoe scores again for Arsenal in Premier League 2
English-born Ghanaian youth forward Charles Sagoe Junior perpetuated his scoring run in the Premier League 2 for Arsenal as he netted in the Gunners’ 2-2 draw with Brighton on Friday.
Sagoe, 18, registered his second goal in 4 games for Ali Mehmet’s boys on the 47th-minute mark at the Amex Elite Football Performance Centre.
He beat James Beadle at his near post with a powerful strike just two minutes after the interval to put Arsenal 2-1 ahead. However, the hosts levelled the scoring through Todd Miller whose effort took a big deflection of Casper Nilsson.
He scored against Chelsea in a 4-1 triumph for the Gunners six days ago.
The attacker is eligible to represent Ghana and England at the same time.
He signed a professional contract at Arsenal in July 2022.
