Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak stepped up their preparations ahead of their CAF Champions League second round preliminary round clash with Moroccan powerhouse Wydad Athletic Club with a 6-1 demolition of third-tier side Dzida FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Samuel Boadu’s side dominated their opponents and scored 5 goals before Ahmed Oduro grabbed one consolation goal for the visitors.
Burly striker Kofi Kordzi opened the scoring for the Phobians before Ibrahim Salifu and Afriyie Barnieh registered goals in the first half.
Afriyie Barnieh scored twice in the second half including a penalty kick.
Hearts were awarded another penalty on the 88th minute and Patrick Razak converted for the 6th goal of the game.
