Hearts of Oak set another unwanted record in Africa following 4-0 loss to JS Saoura
Hearts of Oak have set another unwanted record in Africa following their 4-0 loss to JS Saoura in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday evening.
The Phobians were eliminated from the competition on a 4-2 aggregate loss as they failed to contain their hosts at the Stade 20 Août 1955.
According to Kumasi-based football historian Bright Yeboah Taylor, the Phobians have conceded 14 goals in their last three away games in the CAF inter-club competition.
In 2015 the Phobians slipped to a 4-0 loss to Esperance de Tunis in the CAF Confederation Cup in North Africa.
Meanwhile, in 2021 Moroccan outfit Wydad Athletic Club hit the Ghanaian double-winners for 6 after they beat them 6-1 before losing 4-0 in yesterday’s game to put their numbers at an alarming rate of 14-1.
