Hearts of Oak’s next Ghana Premier League game is against Kotoko. Find out why

Troubled Hearts of Oak will come face to face with their bitterest rivals Asante Kotoko in their next game in the Ghana Premier League.

The fixture is supposed to be a matchday 7 clash meaning the Phobians had to honour their matchday 5 and 6 games against Berekum Chelsea and Medeama SC respectively before facing Kotoko but their CAF Confederation Cup duel against J.S. Saoura means both games are likely to be rescheduled.

Samuel Boadu’s side were supposed to face Chelsea on the 28th of November 2021 but also have a continental assignment against the Algerian side which means the Ghana Premier League fixture will be postponed.

Per the nature of the Confederation Cup fixtures, the return leg games will be played the following weekend which means the clash against Medeama SC at the Akoon Park will also be rescheduled.

By the time the Phobians return to Ghana from Algeria, the Ghana Premier League will be on matchday 7 which means they will be facing Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
