French Ligue 1 side Stade Rennais completed the signing of Ghana sensation Kamaldeen Sulemana on Friday in reported deal worth €21m.

The 19-year-old has signed a 5-year-contract at the Roazhon Park to become the 5th Ghana international to play for the club. After completing the signing the Techiman-born has become the latest player to swap one of these two clubs for the other.

In 2012 the two clubs did a similar deal involving a Ghanaian player who is also called Kamal though the player moved went the other way.

Rennais signed then Ghana U20 midfielder Kamal Issah from Ghana Premier League side Liberty Professionals in 2010. However after two seasons failing to break into the first team at Rennais Les Rouge et Noir offloaded him to the Danish club.

The transaction was worth €300,000 as confirmed by transfermarkt.com.

Kamal went ahead to make a UEFA Champions League appearance at Nordsjaelland after coming off the bench to play 25 minutes against Chelsea in a 6-1 group stage loss at the Stamford Bridge.

The midfielder left Nordsjaelland after three seasons as he moved Norway and later to Turkey where he is currently based.
