Ishmael Yartey strikes again with superlative finish for Haka in Finland’s top-flight

Ghanaian attacker Ishmael Yartey climbed off the bench to score with a magnificent finish for FC Haka in the Finnish Veikkausliiga on Tuesday afternoon.

The former SL Benfica attacker came off the bench on the 68th minute mark and he needed just 4 minutes to register the opening goal of the game at the Tehtaan Kenttä in Valkeakoski.

Haka manager Teemu Tainio decided to start the attack from bench just as he did in the clash with giants HJK Helsinki and he scored a mammoth finish just after coming off the bench.

Yartey has now hit a rich vein of form for Haka and he has glittered with two goals from his last 48 league minutes for Haka.

Lahti have become one of Yartey’s favourite opposition in the league as he has now scored twice against them in both matches that he has played against them.

The 2007 Ghana U17 starlet scored against the club during his spell with KPV in June 2019 and has now repeated the performance with a good strike.
