Kofi Kordzi set to rejoin Hearts of Oak, towering striker to sign contract within 48 hours

Towering striker Kofi Kordzi is set to make a return to Hearts of Oak, according to close sources within the Ghana Premier League champions.

The 26-year-old spent last season with Qatari side Al Muaidar where he bagged 5 goals in 16 goals in the second-tier league.

Kordzi is notable for his physique-inspiring performance in attacker and became fans favourite in the truncated 2019/20 season when he scored 6 goals in 14 games for the Phobians.

The attacker was seen in the Hearts of Oak team bus on Sunday as the club pulled up at the Accra Sports Stadium for the MTN FA Cup final.

He has been training with the Phobians in the last couple of weeks and it appears head coach Samuel Boadu has approved the transfer.
