MTN FA Cup: Hearts leave Accra without TWO influential players for Elmina Sharks clash

Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have left Accra to Elmina for the MTN FA Cup quarter-final clash with Elmina Sharks without two of their key players.

Head coach Samuel Boadu will have to negotiate for a win without 12-goal striker Kwadwo Obeng Junior who has suffered an injury.  The 22-year-old forward was seen in clutches during Hearts’ 1-0 loss to WAFA on the final matchday of the Ghana Premier League. Due to his inability to recover from the injury which appears like he would require some time to recover from and as a result has been left out of the squad.

Attacker Victor Aidoo, who lasted 80 for Hearts in the game against WAFA, is also unavailable for the trip due to a knock he picked in the aftermath of the loss to WAFA.

Boadu has called up forward Abednego Tetteh, Isaac Mensah and Daniel Barnieh Afriyie in his attack for the game.
