Newly-promoted Ghana Premier League side Gold Stars set to name Michael Osei as new head coach [Asempa FM]

Ghana Premier League newboys God Stars are set to name former Asante Kotoko caretaker coach Michael Osei as new head coach of the club.

The 49-year-old tactician left relegated second-tier side Star Madrid at the end of the 2020/21 Ghanaian Division One League.

The Gold Stars head coach job became vacant after Kobina Amissah parted ways with the club at the end of the season.

Osei, a former Ghana international and player for Asante Kotoko, has experience coaching in the Ghanaian top-flight after managing Kotoko between 2015 and 2017.

Gold Stars gained promotion after finishing as winners of Zone II in the Division One League.
