Nigeria coach Augustine Eguavoen has called up Enyimba keeper John Noble as a replacement for Maduka Okoye who has withdrawn from the squad for the game against the Black Stars of Ghana.

According to a Twitter update by the Nigeria Football Federation, the 22-year-old has pulled out of the encounter at the last minute with illness.

As a result of the latest development, the technical team of the Super Eagles has invited Noble to replace the Germany-born goalkeeper who is on loan at Sparta Rotterdam from the English side Watford.

The goalkeepers in the Nigeria camp are Kaizer Chiefs man, Daniel Akpeyi, John Noble, and Francis Uzoho but Uzoho who plays for the Cypriot side, Omonia FC is favorite to be in post for both games according to BBC reporter, Oluwashina Okeleji.
