Reports: Kotoko release this 22-year-old midfielder
Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko have parted ways with midfielder Godfred Asiamah, according to reports.
The former New Edubiase United player had been on the books of the Porcupine Warriors since 2019 when he joined them from regional rivals AshantiGold.
Asiamah, who can also play across various backline positions, enjoyed a great spell Kotoko former trainer Kjetil Zachariasen but, quickly fell down the pecking order following the exit of the Norwegian.
Finally, after nearly three seasons at the regional capital city, the two parties have gone separate ways.
The player’s transfer market page confirms that he is now a free agent and is eligible to sign for any club.
