Salifu Ibrahim presents his Player of the Year Award to Togbe Afede XIV

Hearts of Oak star Salifu Ibrahim presented his coveted Player of the Year award to the club’s board chairman Togbe Afede XIV on Monday night during a dinner party.

The 21-year-old midfield ace was voted the Home-based Player of the Year by Ghana Football Awards in early July.

Salifu, who joined the Phobians from Techiman Eleven Wonders in the second registration window, beat Brazilian Fabio Gama, Augustine Boakye and Gladson Awako to win the coveted prize.

On Monday night Hearts board chairman Togbe Afede XIV organised a dinner party for the Hearts of Oak players and technical team together with the officials of the club and the midfield ace took the opportunity to present his award to the board chairman.
