SWAG launches 47th Awards in MTN House, Accra
The Sports Writers Association of Ghana, SWAG, has officially launched the 47th SWAG Awards.
The event, which was graced by two high profile personalities from telecommunications giants MTN Ghana – Mrs. Efua Serwaah Boateng and Mrs. Georgina Asare Fiagbenu, was held at the MTN House in Accra on Wednesday after.
During the launch, Mrs. Fiagbenu encouraged members of the sports media to improve on their efforts to award deserving sporting heroes and heroines who distinguish themselves in their respestive disciplines.
She pledged MTN’s unflinching support for the event which will be held in January 2023.
Charles Osei Asibey, the General Secretary for SWAG, revealed that the nomjnations for the Awards will be announced in December 2022.
