These are the THREE Ghanaian players who scored own-goals abroad this weekend

Three Ghanaian players put the goal in their own nets while in action for their clubs abroad over the weekend.

The three players had weekends they would want to quickly forget as they unfortunately scored own-goals.

Here are the trio.

GERMANY

Defender Steffen Nkansah scored an own-goal while in action for Zwickau when they drew 1-1 with Kaiserslautern. Zwickau would have claimed the maximum points at the Fritz Walter Stadion had it not been a 19th minute disastrous own-goal scored by Nkansah in the German Liga 3.

AUSTRIA

27-year-old Ghanaian midfielder Sani Musah scored an own-goal while in action for Lauterach who lost 3-0 to Wolfurt. The midfielder has 2 goals and one assist already in the league this season but this time it was unlucky as he scored an own-goal that cost his club in a 3-0 defeat. Musah scored the goal on the 7th minute which profited Wolfurt.

SWEDEN

Nasiru Moro scored an own-goal while in action for Orebro in their 2-0 away loss at AIK Solna. The 24-year-old former Legon Cities defender’s moment to forget came on the half hour mark as he converted the ball into goal for AIK at the Friends Arena.
