Thieves snatch Andre Ayew’s expensive Patek Philippe watch worth GHS1.4m [Asempa FM SportsNite]

Thieves at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium snatched the expensive wristwatch of Ghana captain Andre Ayew, according to reports on Asempa FM’s SportsNite.

The unfortunate incident happened moments after the Black Stars’ final training session at the venue for Friday’s all-important first-leg of the final round of the qualification series for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Ayew, who is suspended for the fixture, decided to spend time with the fans after the training session.

The value of the watch is worth $150,000, according to the confidant of the Al Sadd forward.
