King Faisal are set to beat Berekum Chelsea to the signature of former Kotoko defender Ahmed Adams, according to fresh reports from Kumasi.
Adams, 29, is the brother of former TSG Hoffenheim defender Kasim Adams Nuhu.
Chelsea were leading the race to land the central defender but Faisal have strongly entered into the face which means fresh headache for the Blues.
Adams prefers to stay and play in Kumasi where he would be close to his family.
He spent three seasons at Chelsea in two separate spells (2012 to 2014 and 2019/20).
The Kumasi-born has a Transfermarkt.com value of $50,000.
