Unstoppable Ghana captain Andre Ayew provided a superb assist to help Al Sadd to record a 3-2 victory over Al Ahli Doha on Wednesday evening.

Al Zaeem needed a late winner and it was the Black Stars skipper who set the goal up for Rodrigo Tabata who fired the ball past the visitors’ keeper in the 87th minute.

The 32-year-old scored 15 league goals in 21 appearances for the club last season.
