Ex-WAFA midfielder Forson Amankwah scores for Austria side Liefering in pre-season win

Former WAFA midfielder Forson Amankwah hit the back of the net for Liefering in their 4-0 hammering of Grodig in a pre-season friendly game on Saturday.

The 18-year-old put his name on the score-sheet with a fine strike on the 14th minute mark as Liefering ran riot over the Regionalliga Salzburg side.

Six days ago the midfielder was called up to the main RB Salzburg team that slipped to a pre-season loss against AS Monaco.

He could gatecrash the Salzburg first team if he is able to prove his mettle in the pre-season exercise.
