EXCLUSIVE: Eric Bekoe reveals the next player Hearts of Oak will sign

Former Asante Kotoko striker Eric Bekoe has revealed Hearts of Oak will go after Medeama SC midfielder Richard Boadu.

Hearts have not officially contacted Medeama for the services of the midfielder who became a transfer target for Kotoko before the start of the season.

However it is expected that the Phobians will launch a bid to sign the 23-year-old who is highly regarded as one of the best defensive midfielders in the Ghanaian top-flight.

Ghana Sports Online understands Medeama are unwilling to sell the midfielder but the player will be willing to reunite with his former coach Samuel Boadu at Hearts.

Bekoe has revealed on Kumasi-based Pure FM the Phobians will go after the midfielder.

“They [Hearts of Oak] will now go for Richard Boadu,” he said.

Boadu played for lower-tier side Phar Rangers before securing a deal to Medeama in 2018. He started his career with Cornerstones FC. – a lower-tier side based in Kumasi.
