Ghana Premier League: Dwarfs’s Moro Sumaila becomes only the third hat-trick scorer in the season – Find which other players has hat-tricks

Ebusua Dwarfs midfielder Moro Sumaila has joined the list of players who have scored hat-trick in the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season.

The 26-year-old hit the back of the net three times against Karela United on Monday afternoon. The midfielder netted on the 12th minute, 49th minute and 81st minute marks in the game as the Mysterious Club hammered Karela 4-1.

Before scoring three times in a single league game in the season, two other players had done that before him. Former Dreams FC striker Joseph Esso had netted a hat-trick he scored three times against AshantiGold in a matchday 16 clash which ended in a 4-1 victory for Dreams.

King Faisal striker Kwame Peprah had also scored a hat-trick. The 12-goal striker hit the back of the net three times in a 4-3 win over Berekum Chelsea in a matchday 11 clash in Techiman.

Meanwhile former WAFA forward Daniel Lomotey had also scored four times before he left the local scene.

Moro has scored 8 goals so far in the league.
