German-born Ghanaian youth attacker Richmond Tachie came off the bench to make his first senior appearance for Borussia Dortmund in their 2-0 pre-season win over Giessen on Tuesday.
The 22-year-old attacker was introduced on the 46th minute mark to replace experienced forward Marco Reus to make his maiden appearance in the first team.
Dortmund scored twice in the first half with goals from youngsters Ansger Knauff and Steffen Tigges to win the game for Dortmund.
Tachie is hoping nail down a place in the Dortmund senior squad for the season after having impressed for the Dortmund II where he scored 11 goals in 11 games in the Regionalliga West.
