Mohammed Anas grabs Al Wehdat debut goal against Al Sadd in AFC Champions League
Ghanaian forward Mohammed Anas registered his first goal for Jordanian side Al Wehdat in their 5-2 reverse against Al Sadd in the AFC Champions League on Friday.
The 34-year-old ensured the 17-time Jordanian Premier League title-winners ended the first half 2-1 ahead.
Anas, a former player for South African sides TX Galaxy and Maritzburg United, strolled the visitors into a 44th-minute lead when he converted a chance set up by Daoud Haikal Ahmad.
But, Ghana captain Andre Ayew got on the score-sheet and provided his 3rd assist of the season Qatari side Al Sadd staged a strong comeback.
The result leaves the visitors at the bottom with just a point from 3 games.
