Asante Kotoko have made a dangerous decision with their arrival in Accra ahead of the Ghana Premier League super clash with Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
As at Sunday morning 6AM Kotoko have still not arrived in Accra and are banking their hopes of travelling to the capital via flight to honour the Super Clash game.
But, travelling in the unpredictable weather of June/July in Ghana nothing could be assured and flight delays from bad weather could affect flight schedules which could lead to late arrival or failure to turn up for the game entirely.
Kotoko trained in Kumasi on Saturday and it is unknown why the team chose to travel to Accra for the game on Sunday morning instead of arriving on Saturday to prepare the team for the Accra atmosphere.
Hearts host Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in a match that most fans have tipped to decide the fate of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League title.
