Swiss-born Ghanaian starlet Theophilus Opoku strikes for Servette in pre-season friendly draw

Swiss-born Ghanaian youth midfielder Theophilus Opoku scored one of the goals for FC Servette in their 2-2 draw with Xamax in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.

Opoku, 19, pulled Servette level when he scored on the 31st minute mark after Xamax had opened the scoring 11 minutes earlier.

He was replaced after half time as Servette manager Alain Geiger made wholesome changes after the break.

The youngster was born to Ghanaian parents in Switzerland and has represented the European nation at youth level after featuring 5 times for Switzerland U17 in the Euro U17 Qualifiers.
